The Trade Lab is operated by Powerlab Inc. ("Powerlab," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy applies to our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It does not replace a separate enterprise agreement or data-processing addendum where one applies.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, organization, and authentication details.
- Workspace and product content, such as descriptions, HS or HTS codes, documents, images, messages, and other material you choose to submit.
- Usage and technical information, such as actions taken in the Service, log events, IP address, browser information, and diagnostics.
- Transaction information associated with a paid plan. Payment card details may be collected directly by the payment provider rather than by us.
- Integration data that you direct a connected service to share with the Service.
- Communications you send to us, including support requests and product feedback.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate, maintain, support, and secure the Service; create and administer accounts; provide requested features; respond to inquiries; monitor performance and prevent abuse; comply with law; and improve the reliability and usability of the Service.
3. AI features
When you use an AI-assisted feature, prompts, files, product details, and relevant workspace context may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the requested output. A provider's retention and use of that information depends on the applicable service terms and configuration. Do not submit information you are not authorized to process, and contact us if you need current information about the providers used for a particular deployment.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- to vendors that provide hosting, authentication, storage, email, analytics, payment, support, or AI services;
- to an organization administering your account or workspace;
- when you direct us to connect or share information with another service;
- when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect people, rights, and systems; and
- in connection with a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to applicable law.
5. Cookies and local storage
The Service may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for login, security, preferences, and performance. Your browser may let you limit these technologies, although required Service features may not work correctly if you do.
6. Legal bases for EEA and UK users
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data as needed to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, or act with consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis used.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, meeting contractual or legal obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting the Service. Deletion requests may be subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, and contractual retention requirements.
8. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Applicable law may provide exceptions or additional rights.
10. International transfers
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use transfer safeguards recognized by applicable law. Contact us for information relevant to your deployment.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy with an updated date and provide additional notice when required by law.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@thetradelab.ai. Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.
